01

What is in the box

Pokémon.com’s product page for the 30th Celebration Ultra-Premium Collections gives one contents list and then splits it by theme. Day is the Espeon ex box. Night is the Umbreon ex box. Each box includes a Pikachu ex promo illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN.

Published contents. One box includes the Pikachu ex that matches its theme, plus either Espeon ex (Day) or Umbreon ex (Night).
Qty Item Which box
1 Foil Pikachu ex promo, illustrated by YOSHIROTTEN Day theme or Night theme, matching the box
1 Foil Espeon ex promo Day
1 Foil Umbreon ex promo Night
1 Playmat Art follows the box theme
65 Card sleeves Both
1 Deck box Both
1 Metal coin Espeon on Day, Umbreon on Night
6 Damage-counter dice Both
29 30th Celebration booster packs Both
1 30th Celebration Classic Collection booster pack Both
1 Pokémon TCG Live code card Both

The product page calls this 30 booster packs in total. The special pack is the Classic Collection pack. Pokémon’s November 2, 2026 product news says that pack contains three etched cards. The product page does not name those three cards, so a specific Classic Collection pull is not part of the published contents.

02

Day and Night keep the packs and change the theme

The 29 Celebration packs and the Classic Collection pack are the same kind of pack in both boxes. Choosing a version chooses the partner promo, the coin, and the art on the playmat, sleeves, and deck box. Buying both is how you get Espeon ex and Umbreon ex, plus both Pikachu ex promos.

Prices reported before release

The Pokémon.com product page lists the contents and the date. It does not list a price. On October 8, 2026, Patricia Hernandez at Polygon reported an MSRP of $179.99, a GameStop price of $399.99, and a Target figure of $249.99 that influencers and restock Discords had seen before public listings. Polygon wrote that store listings were not live yet and that Target’s price could change. The gaps below are arithmetic from those three numbers, calculated for this page.

Figures from Polygon, October 8, 2026. Not a live price check.
Quote Amount Against $179.99 How Polygon sourced it
Reported MSRP $179.99 Baseline Called the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Absent from the Pokémon.com product page.
GameStop $399.99 $220.00 more, 122.2% above Described as GameStop’s UPC price, more than double MSRP.
Target $249.99 $70.00 more, 38.9% above Attributed to BritBrattv and restock Discords with back-end listings. Polygon said this could still change.
Walmart No figure — Polygon said Walmart’s price was still unknown, and that Walmart often matches Target on TCG products.

In the same article Polygon also refers to a market price of $715. That is a resale figure in the story, not a store receipt. Best Buy is mentioned only as a guess that it might stay near MSRP. This page does not list Best Buy at $179.99, because Polygon did not report a Best Buy listing. These quotes are from October 8. This page was written on November 3, 2026. Check the number on the listing in front of you.

Check a listing against the reported MSRP

Type the price on a page you are looking at. The result is only the gap versus $179.99. It does not call a store, and it does not decide the purchase.

The comparison will show up here.

What other stores are charging

This site does not sell boxes, cards, or preorders, and it does not take payment.

  1. Match the title to Ultra-Premium Collection, Day or Night. Set aside the Ditto box and the figure box.
  2. See if you can choose the version. A line that says the style may vary can ship either box.
  3. Put the asking price next to $179.99. GameStop’s reported $399.99 is already more than double.
  4. Read that store’s cancellation and refund terms before the store charges you.
  5. Pokémon.com says the box will be at the Pokémon Center and where Pokémon TCG products are sold. A listing at several times the reported MSRP is a reseller offer. Dexerto described a September video that pointed viewers at a marketplace listing of $2,262.

06

Openings

The retail date is November 6, 2026. A useful unboxing is one filmed from a box bought through a normal retail channel on or after that date, with the packs and both promos visible.

Early openings were already circulating in September. Dexerto reported a YouTube short that opened a Night box and carried a shop link to a $2,262 listing. That is a news item about an early open, not a review of the retail release, and this page does not embed it. When retail videos show up, watch whether the opener names the three Classic Collection cards. The published contents stop at “three etched cards.”

07

What people are paying extra for

Three things in the public product description are why sealed boxes were already priced far apart in October.

A price above $179.99 is a bet that the box still costs that much after November 6, when more stores have stock. The October range Polygon printed already ran from $179.99 to $399.99 at named retail, with a $715 resale figure beside them. Stock can pull prices down. Thin shelves can hold them up. This page does not know which, and it is not a forecast or a promise of a return.

The price that does not depend on the resale market staying high is the reported MSRP. Several times that number is a scarcity bet with no published payout.
